Miguel Ángel Sanz Franco (Small ruminants technician at HIPRA) presented the results obtained from a study conducted with veterinarians of sheep in Spain on the costs of mastitis control programs at the Sheep Forum.
This study concluded that vaccination with VIMCO® represents the lowest percentage of costs within mastitis control programs.

Subsequently, José Ramón Díaz Sánchez (Professor at Miguel Hernández University of Elche) spoke at the Sheep Forum about mechanical milking and its relationship with udder health and milk quality.
Finally, Teresa Calvo (Corporate product manager of small ruminants at HIPRA) presented the results of the publication presented at the latest edition of the International Bovine Mastitis Conference (NMC, Milan – Italy) which shows how vaccination with VIMCO® helps reduce somatic cells and reduce milk production losses due to staphylococcal mastitis.

With this type of actions, HIPRA reinforces its commitment to prevention for animal health and especially in the sheep and goats sector in Spain.
